Financial Accountant - Italian speaking (all genders)

Your responsibilities

• You lead the daily financial management of our Special Purpose Vehicles in Italy and other European countries. 
• You supervise the general ledger and posting of business transactions and generate daily cash reports.
• You carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAPs and report the result to the department head. 
• You prepare monthly VAT declarations and filing and also manage direct tax calculation and declaration with the support of the company’s tax advisors and internal tax manager.
• You monitor continuously each operating country’s accounting and tax compliance.
• You lead the financial audit of SPVs and respond to the requests from the mother company’s external auditor.  
• You are involved in SPV’s life-cycle from incorporation and acquisition to divestment and lead the necessary accounting and tax treatments. 
• You serve as a key business partner to internal departments such as Business Development and Project Financing, as well as external accounting and tax advisory firms.

You contribute to our success if

• You have completed your studies in business administration, accounting or another finance related field. 
• You have at least 3 years of experience working as an accountant in an international company.
• You have in depth working experience with the HGB and IFRS.
• You already have working experience with SAP.
• You are fluent in English and Italian; any additional language is a plus.
