We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead Amazon Third Party (3P) monetization strategy for services related to selling on Amazon with main focus on EU Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA). The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter that thrives on developing new ideas and comes with a strong analytical background, track record of effective business partnership, ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the EU FBA Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible to identify growth and profit opportunities and to develop the monetization fee strategy for a multibillion-dollar business. The role requires close collaboration with business and finance teams in Europe and the US.
Key job responsibilities
· Support the monetization strategy delivering high quality insights to senior leaders to influence their decisions;
· Support planning cycles to reflect the monetization strategy into plans;
· Provide trends and gap analysis versus plan generating actionable insights;
· Define, maintain and develop performance metrics to increase controllership on the monetization strategy.
· Assess business cases performing ROI analysis to drive growth, profitability and cost saving.
· Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Strong communicator (Fluent in English; no other language requirements)
- Business acumen and backbone to partner well with the business
- MBA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite)
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, ecommerce
