Salary: $25 per hour
The Finance Assistant position offers a great opportunity for hands on learning. The Finance Assistant will work with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to provide day-to-day support.
Duration: 6 month contract
Your Tasks:
- Prepare analysis on the sales, costs and earnings of various programs as required
- Create and revise various monthly and ad hoc financial reports
- Collaborate on digitization measures
- Support in the preparation of the annual operational/strategic budget planning process and periodic forecast updates
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
- Provide back up for other members of the Finance team
Our Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor/University degree in a Business-related area
- Proficiency on all MS Office programs, especially MS Excel including SUMIFS, V-lookup and pivot tables working with large amounts of data
- Experience in the use of financial systems/application (SAP preferred)
- Experience with PowerBI and Tableau as asset
- Ability to think analytically
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of data entry accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to drive the company forward with analytical and conceptual thinking
- Demonstrates ethical behavior
- Ability to integrate into a team
- Possess strong communication/interpersonal skills
