As Expert Finance Data Governance you will be part of the digital transformation of MTU's finance functions and shape the next generation of global finance processes and systems. The position can work from Munich, Hanover or Ludwigsfelde near Berlin.
- You will actively participate in the development and establishment of a group-wide governance for master data and methods for all relevant legal reporting processes.
- You identify, analyze and define binding, standardized master data and methods. Using best-practice approaches, you will uncover potential for harmonization and automation.
- You manage projects in collaboration with specialists from MTU’s global finance organization (e.g. harmonization of operational charts of accounts).
- You are responsible for maintaining and further developing group-wide governance for master data and methods.
- You create transparency and communicate the need for master data management by modeling and presenting your ideas and suggestions, clearly highlighting the benefits for the company.
- You will be in close coordination with the IT department to validate functional specifications and their technical implementation in SAP.
- You actively participate in the MTU SAP S/4 HANA Finance transformation, create training concepts and train employees as part of the governance setup.
- Degree in business administration, Information Systems or comparable
- Experience in master data management, in setting up governance structures or in process and data analysis
- Professional experience, e.g. as an SAP key user in an industrial company or in (IT-)consulting
- Experience in SAP implementation or transformation projects, e.g. in the S/4HANA Finance environment
- Strong understanding of data flows and processes within the finance area as well as knowledge of IFRS-/HGB-accounting principles
- Conceptual and analytical skills, strong teamwork, presentation and communication skills in German and English
