Engineering Manager - Process Engineering

The ideal Engineering Manager should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors of Engineering degree in a Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering discipline
• Background or knowledge of surface technologies / plating industry (including Chemistry) would be beneficial

• Formal project management experience would be beneficial - APMP / PRINCE2 / etc.
• Formal 'Lean' / Continuous Improvement training would be beneficial
• The role requires a proven technical manager, an independent creative thinker, a great communicator and motivator who is organised, a great team player, commercially aware/sensitive, and a good negotiator
• Minimum 3 years of management experience
• Knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul business tasking
• Ability to gather complex information from experts, distil and challenge, and then create plans and process improvements to deliver on this information
• Technical scope of work / technical guidance / technical business cases
• Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted
• Must be willing to work shifts
