For our Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics in Oberpfaffenhofen we are looking for Electrical Engineer, Information Technology Engineer or similar (f/m/x) Embedded hardware for sensory acquisition and control of robotic systems What to expect: The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics develops robots that enable people to interact with the environment more effectively, efficiently and safely.
The robots are designed to work in environments that are inaccessible or dangerous for humans, but also support and relieve people during work and in everyday life. Here the integration of embedded systems plays a decisive role here, as it enables sensor signals to be processed and implement motor controllers for the actuation of our systems. The design and implementation of such applications on microcontrollers requires in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering and embedded C, as well as an understanding of a variety of communication interfaces such as EtherCAT, SPI, CAN, I²C and UART. As a member of our Digital Electronics group in the Mechatronic Systems department, you will have the opportunity to, your skills and experience in embedded systems, especially in the development of modern robot systems with EtherCAT fieldbus. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about the development robots for a wide range of applications, e.g. in the fields of aerospace, aviation, civil protection and medicine. We are looking for a qualified addition to our team who specializes in programming embedded systems and has some experience with EtherCAT and has some experience with EtherCAT.
