YOUR ROLE
- Define a vision and strategy for the future digital landscape for the Innovation/ R&D function of Adhesive Technologies
- Drive digital transformation and automation across the Innovation community ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Lead people and cultural change initiatives to help drive digital transformation of the organization
- Navigate complex stakeholder relationships across business units and cross organizational functions, fostering collaboration and shared objectives
- Develop and lead a comprehensive communication strategy for digital innovation (multiple platforms and stakeholder messaging)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create a dynamic and passionate working environment that maximizes innovation potential
- Assure the business has access to the latest digital, machine learning and AI technologies, including regular internal and external benchmarking
- Ensure seamless LIMS and digital interfaces of global innovation laboratories
- Regularly report digital engineering and analytical performance KPIs to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and expand long-term partnerships with external experts, start-ups and collaboration partners
- Cultivate a keen understanding of the value of data, driving initiatives that leverage data for improved R&D processes and formulated chemistries
YOUR SKILLS
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, IT, Business Management or other relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in technical leadership and organizational change within a complex matrix organization
- Experience in leading cross-functional diverse global teams
- Passion for driving change management, specifically focused on digital transformation topics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, influence stakeholders and build consensus
- Good strategic thinking, storytelling and analytical skills
- Experience in complex stakeholder management
