Amazon Logistics is seeking a creative and driven Sr. Learning Specialist with experience in program management and instructional design to join our Standards & Digital Learning Team.
In this role you will be responsible for the program management of digital learning and development initiatives that support leaders in Operations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead the development of training best practices and standards, enable and scale implementation across the network, and share results with all operational leaders. As a Sr. Learning Specialist, you will partner with our learning & development field organization and use them as a lever to improve Safety Culture, Quality, and Performance results in our Delivery Stations. You will be able to create innovative and scalable digital learning & development programs within different platforms, internal teams or 3rd party vendors to ensure the best learner experience at all times.
This role is reporting into the Senior Manager “Standards & Digital Learning”.
To be successful in this role, you will have a customer centric mindset coupled with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be able to use transferable skills picked up from previous program management roles, knowledge of instructional design and 3rd party vendor management with a strong hands-on approach.
This role can be based in any Amazon Logistics Corporate Location in Europe:
Berlin, Munich, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan
Key job responsibilities
• Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities with digital learning programs
• Contribute to reporting on training activities and analyze data to drive results and learning effectiveness
• Work strategically with leaders to identify innovative learning solutions to standardize training programs as well as getting feedback from the operational teams on areas of opportunity for improvement
• Create and manage the communication strategy for promoting and highlighting key training processes and activities across the network focusing
• Develop our training strategy for leader facing training programs with a high focus on technical skills and development
• The ability to be comfortable with high ambiguity and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
• A completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 4+ years of experience
• Extensive experience and expertise in program and project management in a matrix organization
• Experience in instructional design, including needs analysis and multi-media instruction
• Experience formulating and implementing training strategies, policies, and procedures for standardization and delivery of training methodology throughout an organisation
• Proficient experience and expertise in data analysis and visualization
• Experience with adult learning theory, course facilitation, human performance improvement, and knowledge management
• SQL, and Database Administration Skills
• Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing priorities
• Ability to actively use training data to track, trend, and manage training efforts
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• A strong focus on internal customers’ needs and satisfaction, with an emphasis on demonstrating return on investment in training.
• A qualified candidate will be focused on how training contributes to the company’s bottom line and will have the analytical skills to justify programmatic decisions with data.
