Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank addresses the needs of corporate clients, financial institutions, investors, and issuers: In Corporate Treasury Services we provide corporate clients with liquidity management, foreign exchange, payment, trade finance and lending solutions. Our Institutional Client Services provide financial institutions, investors and issuers with institutional cash management, trust and agency solutions as well as securities services.

CB Marketing is a group wide marketing service function within the Corporate Bank division of Deutsche Bank. With staff based in Frankfurt, London, Singapore and New York, the team initiates and executes comprehensive B2B marketing and communications initiatives, both internally and externally, to support CB-wide go-to market strategy.

CB Marketing covers digital editorial marketing, digital channel marketing, social media, awards, industry conferences and client events, advertising, and collateral. The team also co-operates closely with the relevant corporate functions for media relations, internal communications, and event execution. For the editorial content marketing activities across various channels the team seeks for an English language native speaker journalist who is creative, knowledgeable, and passionate about corporate and transaction banking business.

Your key responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the generation of news and featured articles for CB’s flow content channels including CB’s award-winning annual flow magazine and flow app, the flow online content hub, flow newsletters, white papers, podcasts and videos.

  • You will write and edit evidence-based and well-researched content that is bank- and product-neutral.

  • You will interview clients, including CFOs, heads of treasury and senior management at institutional clients, to write engaging client case studies.

  • You will produce and edit content for sponsored articles and award commentary and develop other creative assets including videos, slides and graphics/ infographics.

  • You will liaise with external design and content agencies, ensuring any content produced is aligned with our approach, approved, and published in the relevant format.

  • You will deal with product-, sales- and relationship-specialists within the Corporate Bank, as well as the relevant product and regional marketing leads to research and write editorial content for print and digital publications, and disseminate content assets via newsletters, the corporate website, and social media such as LinkedIn.

Your skills and experiences

  • Proven journalistic experience in financial media/business following an evidence-based approach

  • Excellent native English language writing skills

  • Good understanding of financial business areas – from Cash Management to Trade Finance, Securities Services to Trust and Agency Services; ideally with a focus in capital markets, to create content around Securities Services and Trust and Agency Services

  • A track record of producing well-researched content in high volumes across a broad range of disciplines – print, online, social media, videos, podcasts and scripts/speeches

  • Solid industry network contacts with Transaction Banking / Corporate Banking functions

  • Teamwork skills and the ability to communicate well with people at all levels in the organisation

  • Organised, flexible and used to working against tight deadlines

  • Proactive “can do” attitude and good work ethic

The preferred location for this position is Frankfurt, alternatively London is an option too.
