WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are seeking a motivated Digital Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or a related field. You will play a key role in enhancing our internal and external digital presence and supporting our communication strategies on a regional and global level.

• You are responsible for advising on and executing SEO enhancement strategies to improve search engine rankings.
• You support the development and execution of comprehensive 360-degree campaigns that encompass paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Additionally, you contribute to creative content development for both internal and external media to boost awareness and maintain a consistent brand image.
• You assist in website building projects and updates that align with marketing priorities and BASF's digital commerce vision.
• Collaborating with digital service teams, you work on technical and structural changes while managing initiatives to enhance the content management system (CMS).
• As a member of various channel-related communities, you support the development of content and provide insights for digital channels.
• Finally, you utilize analytic tools and dashboards to communicate metrics and optimize campaign performance.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, marketing, information technology, or a related fields
  up to 2 years of professional experience in digital communications or marketing
• strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content creation tools (web, social media, video, webinar, etc.)
• excellent interpersonal skills and an intercultural mindset
• ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• creativity and a proactive attitude to try new things while aligning with overall objectives
• proficiency in MS Office and content management systems

WHAT WE OFFER

• 30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical options
• Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 – 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
• Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks 
• Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany
