Digital Assets Project & Change Manager (f/m/x)
Position Overview
The Digital Assets & Currencies (DA&C) Transformation team exists to accelerate our journey in enabling Digital Assets and Currencies use cases within Deutsche Bank. The overall objective is to identify potential DA&C opportunities and develop these in conjunction with our business units to bring them to market.
The position supports our Project Management & Change Execution function, which is responsible for delivery of the value and strategic outcomes of our Change BoW that ensures successful transition into the organisation’s goals, processes, and technologies.
This role is focused on creating and aligning a sustainable change vision for the delivery function - partnering with the Business & Infrastructure areas, building a deep understanding and/or leveraging SME knowledge to have a clear understanding of the business outcomes, articulate requirements, source and document details on process, metrics and data in order to execute the change mandate.
Your key responsibilities
The Digital Assets Project & Change Manager:
Accountable for the overall project management of relevant workstream deliverables
Monitoring dependencies across multiple interrelated projects/products, managing and reporting status of product roadmap and/or project status (e.g., RAID framework) and financial information to support effective decision making.
Developing project/ product & change artefacts during the change lifecycle, e.g., scope, business case, communication, change management and/or training plans, materials and overseeing/monitoring the execution to ensure adoption and minimal disruption of normal business operations
Providing training/mentoring where applicable on various methodologies; including change management, agile, process re-engineering, robotics, project methodologies, and continuous deployment
Adheres to the DA&C Non-Financial Risk Management and Financial Risk Management framework that can be leveraged by business divisions across the bank
Acts as a SME on digital assets and currencies, understanding the technology, use cases and market developments in the industry. Understands DA&C global regulatory trends and core requirements for various products
Partners with Enterprise Risk management, Anti-financial crime (AFC), Compliance, Legal, and Chief Risk Office (CRO) teams, to define a clearly articulated business risk appetite statement. Embeds the framework elements within existing processes of 1LoD and 2LoD (e.g., New Product Approval (NPA), business risk appetite)
Your skills and experiences
Strong understanding of our business and infrastructure areas (IB/CB/PB) and experience of working within the DA&C space is highly desirable
Knowledge of the digital assets and currencies space, including crypto, tokenised securities / other assets across the trade lifecycle
Understanding of the FRM, NFRM and German requirements and regulations, ideally with respect to DA&C as well as experience of working closely with 2LOD functions
Highly numerate with excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
Demonstrable experience of interfacing at various level and project managing large or complex change initiatives
Given the entrepreneurial nature of this initiative, this role will require a “hands on” approach in shaping and defining deliverables, as well as owning the outcomes
Fluent in English, German language ability would be helpful in this role
