Digital Asset Sales Specialist (f/m/x)

About the team
As part of the global Fintech & Platform (F&P) Sales team we work with the most innovative and disruptive companies as their corporate banking partner. Recently we have seen an acceleration in activity with a novel client profile centered around the Digital Asset Industry. In particular, so-called Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) have emerged as pivotal orchestrators of virtual assets (and related services) for both retail as well as institutional investors. We want to be in a position to respond to these developments and thereby help to shape this still emerging industry by providing our top-notch corporate banking capabilities to trusted and regulated VASPs. To further grow the VASP client portfolio we are looking for a Sales Specialist in Frankfurt. The Sales Specialist will act as:
trusted client advisor independently or in a co-coverage model with the Sales Lead for VASP clients globally
structurer of Cash Management and FX flow business solutions for the digital asset industry
driver of the VASP initiative as part of the bank’s digital asset strategy
Your tasks
Facilitating revenue growth through positioning the Corporate Cash Management / Merchant Solutions and FX product suite with a selected number of targeted VASPs globally
Deep understanding of client and industry needs by ensuring regular contact with clients and prospects
Support all steps along the client lifecycle including pre-vetting of a client case, pricing, onboarding, implementation and oversight
Prepare regular pulse checks and presentations for key internal as well as external stakeholders (e.g., regulatory authorities)
Ensure growth of segment prudently in a safe & sound manner, ensuring business remains within the bank’s risk appetite and external regulations
Act as center of competence for topics and trends in the VASP space ensuring close cooperation with key stakeholders including Coverage, FX, Product, AFC and Legal
Your skills and experience
University degree in Economics, Finance, Technology, or similar qualification
2+ years of relevant financial services experience, ideally in Banking or Consulting
Keen interest in disruptive technologies including Digital Assets and PayTech
Self-starter with hands-on mentality and proven commercial edge
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges, thereby adhering to strict deadlines and tight turnaround times
Fluent English skills (both verbal and written)
