Your Role
We are tooz technologies, a spin-off of ZEISS, focused on the development and production of optics for smart glasses with vision correction. To complete our team, we are looking for a Development Engineer Metrology (m/f/d). Your responsibilities:
Developing specifications, directly related to binocular vision correction for projection optics but also with respect to the overall system of smart and AR glasses
Designing and implementing binocular alignment metrology and qualification tools and processes for series production of prescription solutions for AR systems Prepare, document and present project status reports and decision proposals for various audiences
Your Profile
A very good degree in engineering or science, preferably in optics or optical technology
Several years of experience in development, ideally also in the field of visual correction
Strong interest in optics and new processes
An analytical, structured way of working
A high will to solve problems and a strong focus on results
A very good technical understanding, creativity and a high degree of initiative • Good teamwork and communication skills
Very good written and spoken English skills
