Data and/or Records Specialist – Credit Risk Management (f/m/x) in Frankfurt or Berlin
Position Overview
Complete, accurate and timely data is the blood line of a rock-solid credit decision. The Divisional Data Office is accountable for credit Data Quality. Our Data Specialists analyse data flows, cartograph them as data lineage, and determine necessary controls. They measure the flow quality and raise findings ("DQ Issues") when the flows look compromised. Searching for a cure, Data Specialists prescribe a remediation and look for an owner who can fix the issue. You will learn data quality analysis and gain experience with Credit Risk systems, as well as regulatory expectations to good data. We will support your development to ensure you excel in this role.
Your key responsibilities
Measure and report Data Quality
Identify, assess, report and monitor data quality issues, determine business impact and measure data risk
Develop, implement and monitor Data Governance Frameworks
Manage Metadata and Data Assets using the bank's data tooling
Analyse the quality of data flows as well as the completeness and consistency of databases
Establish target goals for DQ improvements and identify optimal remediation approaches
Map data flows in lineage, determine adequate controls and implement data KPIs
Your skills and experiences
Bachelor or Master degree in a data, technology, computer science or quantitative field of study
Experience in technology development or data analysis, governance, and regulation such as BCBS239
Experience with data analysis and governance tooling is of advantage
Knowledge of Credit Risk systems, processes and / or managing credit risks in Deutsche Bank is of advantage
Proficient in English business and tech language. German language skills are an advantage, but not required
You are able to summarize complex (esp. technology) topics in simple and short briefings
