ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst. You will be responsible for surfacing data-driven results and insights for the wider Analytics Team as well as the core marketing function. In this position you will provide operational, economic, and financial analysis to frame data driven decisions - and implement KPIs and scorecards to track initiative progress/performance to encourage a focus on results and execution.
This position is open through a 24-month contract.
ABOUT YOU
Working with various teams, you will be exposed to a wide range of functions. From engineering, data science to marketing. You will provide your knowledge and skills to be a trusted analyst to the wider analytics team as well as, to our business stakeholders. You will be able to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously with support from leadership. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to develop insightful analysis, work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, and transform data to insight.
As a Data Analyst, you will...
- Create and maintain basic reporting solutions using SQL and standard BI tools
- Assist in developing regular performance reports and dashboards
- Support data quality checks and basic process improvements
- Help identify trends in key business metrics
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand and address business questions
- Document analyses / Insights and maintain clear documentation of work
- Support the analytics team in day-to-day reporting needs

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
- 1+ year of experience in a data analysis role
- Proficiency in SQL: intermediate query writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Pivot tables, basic functions, data manipulation
- Proficiency in Analysis: Basic statistical concepts and business metrics
- Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with visualization tools: Basic reporting and dashboard creation on Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI
- Experience with Python or R
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to explain analytical findings
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with large datasets
