Are you eager to define the future of Internal Communications? We're seeking a communications professional to manage employee-facing communications in Germany, based in Munich. As the single-threaded leader, you will be responsible for all internal communications for Amazon's corporate employees, including editorial planning, engagement strategies, campaigns, and events.

It's always Day 1 for us, and an exciting time to join as we're investing in a dedicated European Internal Corporate Communications team. This role would suit a detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling, ability to lead through ambiguity, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business.
Key job responsibilities
• Work as part of a global team to develop innovative internal communications strategies, clear narratives, and effective tactics tailored to engage Amazon's corporate employees in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Build and manage relationships and provide internal communications counsel to various functions, stakeholders, and senior leaders, including PR, HR, Facilities, Legal, affinity groups, and leadership teams
• Manage internal communications channels, define content strategies, and implement proactive campaigns
• Source and deliver original content, including articles, videos, and events, that highlight employees and relevant topics for internal audiences
• Build and deliver internal events (virtual and on-site) including bi-annual employee conference events (All-DACH meetings)
• Manage change, issues, and crisis communications to support business needs
• Serve as the employee experience advocate
• Manage project-related budgets and administrative tasks
- University degree in communications, public relations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional experience in communications or public relations
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated project and time management skills with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Internal communications experience within a multi-national company or large-scale organization
- Experience in retail operations, logistics, and/or technology sectors
- Track record of developing creative solutions to complex communications challenges
- Experience creating and analyzing metrics to measure effectiveness and engagement
- Event organization experience for diverse, remote, and mobile workforces
- Strategic approach to problem-solving and ability to anticipate potential issues
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in time-sensitive situations
- Experience with digital communication platforms and tools
