Customs Manager

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of international shipping experience required
• Experienced with international trade compliance, customs brokerage
• Working experience with U.S. Government agencies such as CBP, BIS, EAR and DDTC
• Fluency in English language required
• German language desirable
• Knowledge in Material classification training for EAR and HTSUS
• Demonstrated proficiency with Logistics and Transportation requirements
• Skilled in transportation carrier relationship and Broker assignment, and Incoterm requirements
• Can conduct root cause analysis
• Contract review for Export/Import clause compliance
• Willingness to travel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Must possess permit to work in the U.S.
