In Norway we have service locations in Oslo, Drammen, Skien, Stören and Bergen. Our over 150 employees carry out maintenance, commissioning, and warranty work on our trains for our cus-tomers.
YOUR TASKS

  • Manage the operational business and strategic development of all Stadler service activities in the Norwegian market
  • Ensuring achieving company goals and economic success
  • Leading and motivating employees and promoting a positive corporate culture
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Promote collaboration and information exchange within the global Stadler Rail Group and promoting the exchange of information with other service locations in Scandinavia and worldwide
  • Be the Stadler Rail Service interface to local customers, authorities and suppliers
  • Support actively our Norwegian projects and future locations with advice and guidance in strategic and everyday queries
  • Contribute actively to, and comply with the guidelines regarding safety, quality and profitability of our activities in Norway
  • Oversee hiring and training of staff in a particular region. Be involved in staff selection, training development, scheduling and ongoing professional development of employees
YOUR PROFILE
  • Higher education in industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent technical education
  • Proven experience in leadership and contract management
  • Demonstrated experience in rail vehicle industry or maintenance preferred
  • Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with positive attitude, high motivation and willingness to push forward
  • Above-average people management and customer service skills
  • Regional expertise. Possess an understanding of country's local politics, industry and society
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and Norwegian
