Consultant Software Engineer Defence - Test Automation (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US:

• Development and optimization of software testing procedures for safety-critical electronic systems (e.g., military radar systems).
• Executing software tests, as well as performing verification and validation.
• Automation of complex testing procedures and processes.
• Analysis and design of requirements, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary groups, such as software development, electronics, and safety engineers.

YOU CONVINCE US WITH:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of professional experience in software testing development, integration, and verification according to DO-178B/C or comparable standards in safety-critical projects.
• In-depth knowledge of development processes (e.g., V-Model).
• Experience in development environment on Windows and preferably Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, C, Java, or Rust) and test automation. Experience in Test- and Requirements Management Tools like DOORS.
• Structured working methods, and fluent English proficiency, ideally German.
• Willingness to travel for project purposes and undergo a security clearance according to LuftSiG §7, including obtaining a Ü2 security clearance..
