Cargo Claims Management (100%, all genders)

This role involves collaborating with internal and external customers, incl. sales organizations, insurances, and lawyers. It offers a unique opportunity to positively influence SWC quality service perception. The position requires independent work, flexible hours, and the option to work from home.

• Handling and managing cargo&mail claims per international conventions, terms & conditions of carriage and company guidelines
• Definition and publication of directives regulating the claims handling process within SWC
• Responsible for handling and settling Customer, Interline, and subrogation claims
• Official main contact within SWC for Insurance&Legal services
• Investigate claims, gather documentation, and assess legal aspects
• Negotiate settlements with customers, insurers, legal representatives and justify decisions
• Settles preliminary accounting with transport insurers
• Oversee claims KPIs and drive preventive measures through data analysis
• Maintain the Cargo Claims Handling Manual & develop claim systems
• Conduct internal claims training and represent SWC in industry committees & conferences
