CAD Design Engineer
Hybrid Model (remotely & in the office)

At this role, you'll be responsible for working with CAD tools to support production and repair development in LHT, preparing 3D models & manufacturing drawings, and ensuring usage of Approve Data within LHT Teams according to Part 21/J and Part 145 approvals.

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Evaluation of digital 3D data and dimensional information
  • Description of geometrical characteristics of the respective parts
  • Execute Design Reviews and Design Freezes in interaction with project management and shop floor engineering
  • Gathering of all technical information of the parts for 3D-Modelling
  • Quality inspection by nominal/actual value comparison using 3D-CAD Models and measurement data from hardware
  • Working with CAD software to prepare parametric and non-parametric 3D models
  • Digitalize point clouds in to Solids, Surfaces CAD models for production, analysis or inspection Teams
  • Designing simple tooling’s for production requests
  • Generating manufacturing drawings
  • Quality inspection of point clouds
  • Participation in intial phase of designing process in example tooling desings
  • Support High Detail Repair process in Geometrical creation including Measurments strategies, CAD Model Creation and manufacturing drawing creation
  • Ensuring usage of Approve data in Designing Activities

The ideal CAD Design Engineer should meet the following requirements:

  • At least a technical or informatics vocational training or degree is required
  • One year of work experience required
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Polish language skills required
  • Knowledge of German language desirable
  • Industry knowledge
    - Production processes
    - CAX software
    - PLM software
  • Knowledge of Tooling design desirable
  • Advanced skills in electronic data processing
  • Advanced knowledge in technical documents
  • Advance knowledge of CAD Software NX, SolidWorks, Geomagic, DesignX
  • Good skills in usage Inspection Software GOM inspect
  • Good skills in usage of MS Office desired
  • Good skills in usage of any PLM Software
  • Analytical and accurate working methods
  • Capable to work on computer screens (eyesight test)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High trustworthiness (respect corporate philosophy of LHT)
  • Good self organization and flexibility
  • Good breadth of understanding
