WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Global E-Coat Technology is responsible for the innovation, product optimization and maintenance as well as technical services in the customer lines of our global automotive E-Coat segment. Within this organization, you play an instrumental role as Lab Manager E-Coat Products II for a segment of our portfolio.

• As the Lab Manager for E-Coat Products II, you are responsible for one segment of E-Coat OEM customers within the global organizational structure.
• Your role encompasses bath testing for the lines under your responsibility, responding to customer requests regarding approvals and formulation optimization as well as supporting product launches of the products in the customer lines. Furthermore, some activities of innovation with regards to the product portfolio can be assigned to this group.
• In addition, you actively support customers and coordinate necessary communications with internal units, such as accounting, marketing, manufacturing, logistics and laboratory.
• You are responsible for customers in Europe, Japan and India, including European, American, Japanese as well as Indian customer groups.
• By building competencies in your global team, you promote its development and support structural reorganization to enhance global alignment and efficiency.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with expertise in polymer synthesis
• several years of experience in E-Coat formulation and application processes, with strong product knowledge
• customer-oriented team player with strong communication skills in English and German
• leadership experience of multicultural teams and the ability to deal with conflictual situations
• high level of self-motivation to inspire and engage others with your ideas, coupled with a willingness to travel, in order to drive successful project implementation and customer growth
