Application Engineer & Sales Supporter (m|f|d)

In your role as "Application Engineer & Sales Supporter" you are the key contact person for customers and colleagues - from the early quotation phase, through contract negotiations to handover to a project team. Together with your colleagues from Front Sales (field sales), you will develop offers and solutions for the respective sales region. Together with Front Sales, you will further develop customers and sales regions.
You have experience in actuator technology, ideally you have extensive knowledge of turbines and/or other turbomachinery.


Your tasks

  • Support of Front Sales in the sales regions throughout the entire sales process.
  • Your professional expertise makes you the first point of contact for Front Sales and our customers.
  • Contribute implementation and development of strategies for the further development of customers and sales regions.
  • Responsible for checking project requirements in terms of feasibility, costs and delivery times.
  • Calculate quotations, prepare them and create presentations to convince our customers.
  • Together with Front Sales, you will visit customers to clarify their requirements and present solutions.
  • In cooperation with your colleagues from the specialist departments, you will be responsible for the implementation of retrofit and new projects.
  • The continuous improvement of our products is important - therefore you will work closely with the specialist departments.
  • Pass on your know-how to customers and employees in training courses and workshops.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering. A comparable qualification, e.g. as a technician, is also conceivable.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, control engineering, hydraulics and mechanics is essential.
  • Already gained initial professional experience in technical sales, ideally in one of the four areas mentioned above.
  • You enjoy dealing with customers and you are a strong communicator and a committed team player.
  • Customer-oriented thinking and passion for technical matters.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%) and business fluency in English and German.
