MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg is handling the largest engine portfolio in the MTU Maintenance network. Our facility in Ludwigsfelde specializes in maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engines in the low to medium thrust range. In addition, our location serves as the company’s competence center for the maintenance of industrial gas turbines.

At the test bench everything comes together during the final acceptance runs of the engines. The engine tests offer an exciting, aviation-related environment for creative and flexible minds.

YOUR TASKS

Testing aircraft engines after overhaul, repair or other requirements:

  • Preparation of the engines for testing, installation in the test adapters and in the test cell
  • Carrying out the engine tests in accordance with test manual
  • Assessment of deviations during test runs
  • Troubleshooting according to manual or engineering instructions
  • Installation and removal of accessories
  • Removal the engines
  • Documentation of the results on the test certificate
  • Creation and revision of the relevant documentation
  • Carrying out after test works and accompanying the final inspection by inspectors
  • Packing engines after testing
  • Maintaining the test bench systems in accordance operational regulations
  • Participation in special projects for the further development of test benches and test processes

YOUR PROFILE
  • Good English knowledge and German language on a B Level
  • Willingness to be available for shifts
  • Completed training as an aircraft mechanic or similar.
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of ​​engine testing or comparable
