Position Objective:
Are you passionate about the automotive industry and eager to gain hands-on experience with a world-renowned luxury brand? Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) is looking for an After Sales Intern to join our team this May for a 6-month term and support our efforts in Parts Logistics.
As an intern at Porsche Cars Canada, you will delve into the heart of our After Sales Parts Operations, enhancing your career development and functional expertise. This internship is designed to immerse you in project-related tasks and provide day-to-day support to the After Sales parts team. You will engage in a variety of projects, from operational support to administrative tasks and project execution.
What You’ll Do:
• Support strategy projects for After Sales Parts Operations.
• Prepare, create, and publish information on Porsche’s internal system: PPN as required.
• Assist the Manager and Parts Operational team with various tasks.
• Manage and submit approval requests for Purchase Orders, Invoicing, and project management within the Porsche Zycus system.
• Create and maintain monthly Parts Reports for the Canadian Dealer Network.
• Provide general support for After Sales projects.
• Participate in Parts Distribution Center warehouse activities as needed.
• Engage heavily in parts financial reporting and financial transaction processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the business.
What You'll Bring:
Education:
• Recent graduate or currently attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline.
• Basic understanding of dealership functions and parts/service preferred.
Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Experience in an automotive dealership parts department is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented experience is an asset.
Skills:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and complex issue troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Proactive with the ability to work independently.
• Capability to manage and oversee multiple activities simultaneously.
• Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• French language skills preferred but not mandatory.
• Able to work independently and remotely while engaging stakeholders.
