As an Amazon Graduate E-Commerce Trainee, a wide variety of challenging opportunities are waiting for you in the E-Commerce world of Vendor Management (Retail) or Partner Management (Marketplace). During the 24-month trainee program, you will be supported by senior leaders, experts and mentors who will help you gain practical experience in a dynamic, international environment from day one through on-the-job training. In rotations of several months to other teams, you will get to know a wide variety of Amazon divisions. You and your manager will customize your rotations based on your skill-set and development goals. In each rotation you will be actively involved in strategic projects to improve the customer experience at Amazon. At the end of the trainee program you will be ready to take on a position in our Vendor or Partner Management teams.
About The Program

Key job responsibilities
Vendor Management (Retail) Focus:
In the area of Vendor Management, you are an entrepreneur within the company and responsible for the relationship with our strategic suppliers or entire product categories.
• Connect with new suppliers, negotiate conditions, make business decisions and develop marketing strategies
• Work together with international teams from Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Finance to continuously improve the customer experience in your product category
• Learn all relevant processes of our Retail business
Partner Management (Marketplace) Focus:
In Marketplace, we support retailers holistically and internationally in order to become successful on Amazon. In Partner Management you address new customers in a national and international environment, form long-term partnerships and communicate with top decision-makers.
• Independently advise a wide range of dealers and continuously develop the online business
• Together with the partners, you develop individual sales-promoting strategies, among other things you create and optimize marketing campaigns and develop customized logistics solutions
• Carry out data-based analysis as part of strategic projects and present them to management groups
• Currently enrolled in your final year to receive a Master‘s degree in Business Administration (ideally with a focus on Sales, Purchasing or Logistics), Business Informatics or a similar degree required OR have graduated within 24 months of amazon.jobs application date.
• Minimum one internship completed (ideally in the areas of E-Commerce, Consulting, Sales or Logistics)
• Experience in an international environment (ideally through a semester or internship abroad)
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and German
• Experience working with Excel
• Excellent communication skills with ability to advise internal and external contacts
• Possess a high level of commitment and initiative
• Quickly grasp and nejoy working with numbers and data
• Ability to think analytically and strategically
